London - England | July 19
I am a Syrian engineer
working in the UK. Like many young people, I was forced to leave my
country seeking a better life. I have left behind my family, my
friends, my neighborhood, and my memories. I do not know what I would
do if I start to lose them!
My Lebanese friend was spending his
honeymoon in Beirut with his British bride when the war struck. This is
not about ideals, religions, countries, or interests. It is about
people’s lives and their dreams.
Some people do not know what that
means. Their lives and others’ lives are too cheap for them. We who
enjoy life drive them mad because we show them that their life is
meaningless.
Please demonstrate against war
raising LEBANON FLAGS ONLY. It is the only symbol for joy, for love of
life, and for resilience in this crazy war.
